Colorado Springs, CO - In conjunction with National Bed & Breakfast Open House, Pikes Peak area Bed & Breakfast (B&B) Inns will participate in the Fourteenth Annual Bed & Breakfast Holiday Tour on Sunday, December 7th from 2-6 p.m. The tour, sponsored by the Old Colorado City Historical Society, will benefit the non-profit organization and its history center with proceeds donated to the society. Built in 1890 as the First Baptist Church of Old Colorado City by well-known architect, Walter Farquhar Douglas, the restored Old Colorado City History Center contains a museum, research library and bookshop. This year's tour includes beautiful and historic homes lovingly converted to bed and breakfast inns and the Old Colorado City History Center museum. The participating properties are located in or near the Old Colorado City historic district, southwest Colorado Springs and historic Manitou Springs. Start your holiday season with a peek inn-side bed and breakfast homes and a museum decorated for Christmas in the Rockies. Varied decorating styles range from Queen Anne to Mission to Arts and Crafts with varied decorating styles. You're invited to visit and see the "Season's Best", professionally and personally decked out to celebrate our season, our area and our local history center.

Refreshments and a gift drawing featuring donations from Old Colorado City Merchants and Bed & Breakfasts will be held from 2-7 p.m. at the Old Colorado City Historical Society's History Center on December 7th, at 1 South 24th Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904 (All proceeds benefit the History Center!).
